Just 10 miles from Alexandria, this location is all you will need to be close to the city, or relax and enjoy the outdoors. Two levels, two living rooms, three bedrooms, and a full kitchen/bathroom are part of this cabin. Plenty of outdoor fun on a private lake, In unit laundry, tv, and wifi!
Note: this is a country lake home in the woods. Bugs, small woodland animals, and natural elements are all part of your lake experience.
The space
You can wake up to deer and turkeys walking by in the morning. Spend the day out on the canoe or paddle boat for a trip around the lake, or to find the special spot where the big fish are hiding. In the evening, the loons will lull you to sleep in the quiet of the night. Beautiful sunsets over the private South Crooked Lake Bay will draw you to the dock for a peaceful evening of fishing, campfires, and outdoor dining…across the bay is a breathtaking view of rolling hills of alfalfa and trees… Peace, quiet, and nature abound.

In the cooler months, the Andes Tower Ski Hills offers a fun mountain for all levels of skiers, snowboarders, and tubers. Snow is made as early as October, and the lifts run just as long! There are trails for cross-country skiing or biking. The private access to Crooked Lake also allows ice anglers to have seclusion as they set up their ice houses. The drive is plowed but we highly recommend driving a 4×4 or AWD vehicle.

The nearby city of Alexandria is a gem of Western Minnesota year-round, as it has tons to do for all family members! The Andria Theatre offers mainstage shows and special events. The Big Splash Indoor water park allows guests to swim at any time of the year. There is a local YMCA for members to get their steps in before relaxing the day away. Casey’s Amusement Park offers go-carts and bumper boats and Lakes Area Jump 4 Fun serves as another year-round place to visit. 22 Northmen Brewing Company and Carlos Creek Winery offer fun activities, including wine tastings, tours, lawn games, and live music! There are countless things to do and plenty of nature to escape the city life’s hustle and bustle. This cozy cabin offers it all!
